When I came out of my drug-induced fog in the ICU, I honestly thought I was in IKEA. No idea why. Something about the ceiling tiles reminded me of a door I had seen in IKEA and I was *SURE* I was standing in IKEA just doing some shopping rather than strapped down to a hospital bed. I could hear my family's voices around me and I wondered why I couldn't see them and why I couldn't stop looking at "the door".I have never lived that down. As for Mr Darcy, I am soooooooooooo happy for you!!!! Dammit, you deserve someone wonderful! |

Yep. I peddle them to all my friends too.Why is it when I write a fat check to IJ I feel so happy and when I write a check for so much as $10 to the Federal government I am deeply resentful. hm.mm...BTW, if you haven't already checked it out, the GMU econ department is privately funded (the great Walter Williams made that change) and Mercatus center at GMU is another worthwhile investment. They do great work. |
